Don't go to Ahlul Bidah Seeking the Dunya

O student of knowledge don't go to Ahlul Bidah seeking the dunya with them betraying the salafi's.

{Verily, those who purchase a small gain at the cost of Allah's Covenant and their oaths}

Imam As-Sadī said in his tafsir:

"And entering into this (verse) is everyone who takes somthing from the dunya in exchange for that which he abandoned from the rights of Allāh and the rights of His(Allāh's) servants."

The salaf would not use their religion to make a living!

Muhammad bin Yūsuf Al-Asbahānī (died 286h) never used to buy his supplies from one bakery. He would say:

"I fear they will recognise me, so they will gift me (supplies) and I will be from those who make a living of my deen."

Hilyātul Awliyāh 8/131

Abdullah bin Muhayriz (from the tabi'in) entered a shop wanting to buy a thobe. So the owner of the shop said:

"This is Ibn Muhayriz so sell to him at a good price". So, Ibn Muhayriz became enraged and exited (the shop) whilst saying:

"We only purchase with our money, we do not purchase with our deen"!
