Spreading tranquility is from the way of the people of knowledge and deep insight
Ponder over the statement of Yusuf عليه السلام to his brother:
{فَلَا تَبۡتَئِسۡ بِمَا كَانُوا۟ یَعۡمَلُونَ }
[سُورَةُ يُوسُفَ: ٦٩]
"So grieve not for what they used to do."
And his statement to his siblings:
{ قَالَ لَا تَثۡرِیبَ عَلَیۡكُمُ ٱلۡیَوۡمَۖ یَغۡفِرُ ٱللَّهُ لَكُمۡۖ وَهُوَ أَرۡحَمُ ٱلرَّ ٰحِمِینَ }
[سُورَةُ يُوسُفَ: ٩٢]
He said: "No reproach on you this day, may Allah forgive you, and He is the Most Merciful of those who show mercy."
And the statement of Shu'ayb to Mūsa عليهما السلام:
{لَا تَخَفۡۖ نَجَوۡتَ مِنَ ٱلۡقَوۡمِ ٱلظَّـٰلِمِینَ }
[سُورَةُ القَصَصِ: ٢٥]
"Fear you not. You have escaped from the oppressing people"
And the statement of the Messenger of Allah صلى الله عليه وسلم to As-Siddīq Abī Bakr رضي الله عنه:
{لَا تَحۡزَنۡ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ مَعَنَاۖ}
[سُورَةُ التَّوۡبَةِ: ٤٠]
"Be not sad (or afraid), surely Allah is with us."
And other than them from the verses of the Qur'an. It will become clear to the one who reflects over them, that spreading tranquility and reassurance, especially during times of anxiety and other than it, is a methodology, attested to by the noble verses (of the Qur'an). The Prophets and Messengers عليهم الصلاة والسلام traversed upon this methodology .
